[ARCHIVED] City of Castle Hills - FY 2020 Proposed Budget

The FY 2020 Proposed Budget was filed with the City Secretary on August 15, 2019. The FY 2020 Proposed Budget is available for review, the City will hold a special City Council meeting -budget workshop on August 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to review and discuss the FY 2020 Proposed Budget. In the FY 2020 Proposed Budget, the City Manager’s transmittal message provides highlights of the General Fund pertaining to overall revenue and expenses, a breakdown of all related funds including Capital expenses.

 

Reminder - The City of Castle Hills will conduct a Public Hearing on Sunday, September 29, 2019 concerning its 2020 Fiscal Budget for the period of January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020. The Public Hearing will be held at a meeting of the City Council at 2:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 209 Lemonwood, Castle Hills, Texas.

This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $61,709, which is a 1.7706% increase from last year’s budget. The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $33,323.
