Fire Department

The City of Castle Hills Fire Department provides the highest quality of emergency services and emergency management to the residents, businesses and those who are traveling through our community. We strive to provide services with the highest level of courtesy and professionalism. Emergency Medical Service (EMS) is provided by Acadian Ambulance Service.

Vision

We strive to continue our training, and wellness to better serve our residents, and those we come in contact with. It is our goal to actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and to protect and educate the public. To work effectively to provide services deemed excellent by our residents and surrounding communities. 

Purpose

The Castle Hills Fire Department is a full-time, paid department dedicated to the protection of lives and property from the destruction of fire and to assist the public in medical emergencies or other catastrophic events.

Staffing
There are 19 full-time personnel at the fire department and the station is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All personnel are certified by the:
  • Texas Commission on Fire Protection at the Basic Structural
    Firefighter level or higher
  • Texas Department of State Health Services at the EMT-Basic
    level or higher
Emergency Medical Services
The City of Castle Hills contracts with Acadian Ambulance Service for Advanced Life Support and for transport to area hospitals. Castle Hills Fire Department responds to all medical emergencies within the city limits as 1st responders to begin initial care and treatment of the sick and injured.
