Beth Daines was elected Alderman for Place 5 in May, 2022. She and her husband Nick have lived in Castle Hills since 2008. They have 3 wonderful teenagers: Luke, Matthew & Lillian.
Before settling in Castle Hills, Beth attended Texas A&M University in College Station, earning a Bachelor of Environmental Design. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
Beth worked for AT&T for 14 years. First, as a Corporate Real Estate Project Manager, facilitating multi-million dollar building projects, then as a Strategic Planner managing real estate from RGV to Amarillo, El Paso to San Antonio. She used her expertise and leadership abilities to make strategic property sales and acquisitions, and manage projects, budgets and people.
As her family grew, she chose to step away from AT&T, and engage with our city through volunteer work and community service. She was Treasurer, and later President of Castle Hills Elementary School PTA, and served as Pack Treasure and Den Leader of Pack 537 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. She continues to volunteer and substitute teach in our community.
