The FY 2021 Proposed Budget was filed with the City Secretary
on August 6, 2020. The FY 2021 Proposed Budget is available for review. The
City Council held a special City Council meeting -budget workshop on August 6,
2020 at 6:30 p.m. for City Council to receive and review the FY 2021 Proposed Budget. In the FY
2021 Proposed Budget, the City Manager’s transmittal message provides
highlights of the General Fund pertaining to overall revenue and expenses, a
breakdown of all related funds including Capital expenses.
“This budget will raise more total property taxes than last
year’s budget by $359,992* or 10.1491%, and of that amount $9,259 is tax
revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.”
The City of Castle Hills will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget and proposed tax rate at the September 8, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
