One way for the City of Castle Hills citizens to actively participate in local government is to become involved as a member of a board or commission. City of Castle Hills City offers a number of ways for its citizens to become actively involved in the community. In addition to the opportunity citizens have to express their thoughts at City Council meetings and public hearings, Castle Hills citizens also may apply to serve on one of our boards and commissions.  All members of these active groups are volunteers whose charge it is to make decisions and advise the city council on issues ranging from architectural review to zoning questions. Serving on a Board or Commission is a direct reflection of interest and dedication of our citizens in making Castle Hills a better place to live.

 

Your talent and expertise can help forge the future of Castle Hills and bridge the gap between our citizens and the City Council.  As a Board or Commission Member, you will have an opportunity to ensure your community is heard and help our City Council form policy decisions that will affect the future of Castle Hills.  Citizens of Castle Hills have the opportunity to serve on a City board or commission is an excellent way of becoming involved in our local government. The Mayor and City Council make all the appointments to the Boards and Commissions.
