[ARCHIVED] South Winston and West Castle Lane Intersection Improvements

The work is scheduled to conclude on December 13, 2019, weather permitting. The scope of work includes partial reconstruction of the intersection, flowable fill trench repair and mill/overlay work. Please be advised of heavy machinery and equipment in the area. Contractor will only conduct the work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with no weekends. West Castle Lane at this intersection will be closed during construction, please use alternate route. In April 2019, the City of Castle Hills received compensation from a settlement offer related to an accident in March 2017 at or near the corner of South Winston and West Castle Lane. This accident involved damages to the City's infrastructure when a utility contractor penetrated the new water main during a directional boring activity. This water main break caused damage to the new pavement and loss of pavement structure. As always, if you need assistance or have any questions as it relates to this project or any City Services, please do not hesitate to contact the City of Castle Hills.
