[ARCHIVED] City of Castle Hills 4th of July Patriotic Parade 2022

220601-July 4 Pic

The Castle Hills Community Organization would like to invite our members, local businesses and any families from our Castle Hills Community to a 4th of July celebration. This will be our 2nd year to celebrate with a community parade and Most Patriotic Contest. We will also have a snow cone vendor on site for the purchase of snow cones after the event.

Our city parade will take place on Saturday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. This parade will be for pedestrians, bikes, scooters, roller skates, wagons and strollers (sorry, no golf carts).  We ask that you line up in front of the Commons (209 Lemonwood) around 9:30 a.m. for judging.  At 10:00 a.m., the parade will make its way down Lemonwood and turn right on Krameria. The parade will move up Krameria to Caladium and turn right. The parade will go down Caladium to Persimmon.  At Persimmon participants will make a right. The parade will pass by the Fire House and return to the Commons.

At 11:30 a.m., CHCO members will announce the winners for the Most Patriotic…. Contest. We will be awarding the following categories: Most Patriotic Person, Most Patriotic Pet, Most Patriotic Wheels, Funniest Costume and Best Overall entry.

We hope everyone can come out for a small amount of time and help celebrate the 4th. Remember if you are not a CHCO member you are still welcome and we would be happy to have you join. Membership is $25.00 per family and we will be able to sign you up at the event.
