SCHEDULE OF FINES
- Juveniles under the age of 17 years, must appear in Court with a parent or guardian.
- Payment of a fine in the amount acceptable by the Court, will result in a finding of Guilty as though a plea of nolo contendere (no contest) had been entered and will be considered a waiver of trial.
- Since a payment is accepted as a plea, only the defendant or his/her attorney may pay a fine on a case that has not already been adjudicated.
NOTE: If occuring within a School Zone, all violations of Subtitle C, Rules of the Road, will be assessed an additional court cost of $25.00 as required by law.
Speed Violations
Speeding: $179 for 1st 10 MPH over, plus $5.00 for each additional mile over the limit
Speeding in School Zone: $204.00 for 1st 10 MPH over, plus $5.00 for each additional mile over the limit
